Känslor kring faderskapet

Att vara förälder innebär att man hela tiden är mer eller mindre ambvivalent. Till att börja med gäller det att komma underfund med om man alls vill bli förälder. Ofta är män mindre förberedda än deras kvinnor på graviditeten. Många gånger är det till största delen kvinnans beslut som leder till en graviditet och det är inte ovanligt att en eventuell graviditet inte diskuterats inom förhållandet innan. Även om graviditeten inte alltid är lika hett efterlängtad hos mannen som hos kvinnan innebär det positiva graviditetstestet att mannen får en biljett på en resa vilken han till att börja med i hög grad och så småningom åtminstone tidvis känner sig mest som en fripassagerare eller kanske mer som en åskådare av tåget som går.
